REGULAR MACRO DAY + STRENGTH TRAINING
Halfway through the week - I really can't believe that we are in the LAST Wednesday of this program - can you!?!?
I know y'all are excited to break your fast with some CARBS this morning!
Also plan to get in a good strength training workout at some point today. Today we’ve got a total body workout to do and it’s a great opportunity to challenge yourself. By working multiple muscle groups at once, we are engaging in maximum calorie burn and muscle building effects!
“WHAT WEIGHTS DO I USE?”
This is something I’m asked alllll the time! When doing the movements, choose a weight that allows you to complete the exercise with proper form but still challenges you. If you get to the end of a set - and you could continue on with no problem, it may be time for you to increase the weights used a little bit. We need to continually challenge our muscles in order for them to grow.
I recommend trying to find at least 2 days a week to incorporate some type of strength training! Whether it’s at home or in a gym. You can also literally use anything in your house to give you some type of weight if you don’t have dumbbells or workout equipment (we had a client who used an INSTANT POT a few weeks ago for weights... no judgement here lol!!)
