REGULAR (OR LOW) MACRO DAY + REST/ACTIVE RECOVERY
It’s been another awesome week in the FASTer Way! I am so proud of every single one of you and how you have stuck with this program during this time. Truly amazing.
Can you believe that we are wrapping up our fifth week? Five weeks into what will hopefully now be your forever lifestyle! I hope you realize by now that this isn't a temporary, get-thin quick diet. It's a lifestyle, but it's a lifestyle that offers grace upon grace. Not only that, but it gives you your health back and that’s invaluable!
Truly living this lifestyle builds a healthier body and mind. You should never want this to end! Here is my free tip of the day: accept that your health journey is for the long-term, but take it day-by-day.
If you've committed consistently throughout these last five weeks, hopefully, you're seeing changes to your overall body composition as you build lean, calorie-burning muscle. It's not a sprint but by now, you are likely noticing some changes, both physical and mental. The amazing thing is that you're likely seeing changes even if you haven't been perfect! Remember, it's all about consistent progress - not perfection!
Sunday is the perfect opportunity to decompress a little bit:
Reset and rest for the week ahead!
Take today to get ready for the new week - and do something for yourself! Read a book, go on a long walk, take a bubble bath with a glass of wine - whatever it is - try to do some form of self care today! Remember that stress is counterproductive to fat burning, so while of course we all will experience some stress in our lives, having stress relief is really important on multiple fronts.
AND... try to think about the week ahead! Meal plan - AND - workout plan. How are you going to achieve your goals this week?! We have a FULL week left - buckle down - you can do this and I am right here with you!
Tomorrow we roll right into low carb day! Get your meals and snacks ready to go! The FASTer Way meal plan is a great resource for you - and I sent you an email with ideas for the week, too.
