⁣It's another regular macro day - so ALL.THE.CARBS. Isn’t it FUN getting to live a life where you “get” to eat carbs?

What is your carb of choice today? If you need a quick option to pack a ton of carbs into your day: a fruit smoothie always does the trick for me!! You can make at home or grab one on the go at your favorite smoothie spot. They will be able to give you the macros if you ask for them.⁣

THIRSTY THURSDAY

Let's talk all about WATER : a very easy rule of thumb - drink HALF YOUR BODY WATER IN WATER, EACH DAY!

DID YOU KNOW? We have a water calculator in our app?! You can find it under nutrition. It's very handy if you have a hard time holding yourself accountable to get in your H20.

I KNOW it can be so hard to drink enough water. I am the first girl to reach for a Diet Coke or a cup of coffee (or let's be honest, a cocktail LOL)...but I KNOW when I drink water I feel one million times better.

What are some signs you are not drinking enough water?

  • Constant hunger / unsatisfied feeling

  • Fatigue

  • Skin breakouts

  • Foggy brain/ dizziness

  • Anxiety

  • Headaches

  • Dry mouth/ lips/ skin

  • Constipation

Tips that help me drink more water:

  • adding lemon (or any other kind of fruit)!!

  • drink one cup (8 ounces) every hour

  • drinking it with a straw! i always drink more when i have a big cup filled up

  • drink sparkling water (la croix, etc)

ANNE’S HOMEMADE GATORADE

If you have been following me for a while - you may have seen my "homemade gatorade" it is AMAZING & restores electrolytes.

  • GIANT cup of ice water

  • one lemon squeezed

  • one lime squeezed

  • a couple of pinches of himalayan salt

  • apple cider vinegar (start with a splash, and increase as taste buds will allow :))

  • Optional: *1-2tbsp honey* (this will break your fast- but if you have a sore throat... it works WONDERS!)Give it a try and let me know what you think! I am addicted!!
